Christina was born and raised in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. She earned a Bachelor of Arts (with Great Distinction) from the University of Saskatchewan in 2002, and received her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Saskatchewan in 2005.
While completing her law degree, Christina served as a member of the Board of Editors for the Saskatchewan Law Review. In 2004, Christina was awarded the P. E. Mackenzie Scholarship, based on her academic performance.
From Articling Student to Associate
Christina joined Gerrand Rath Johnson as an articling student and had the opportunity to spend a one month secondment at the Saskatchewan Court of Appeal. She has continued her legal career with the firm as an associate lawyer.
Christina is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Saskatchewan Trial Lawyers' Association, and the Criminal Lawyers' Association.
She enjoys academic writing and has published two legal papers:
Apart from her legal work and academic writing, Christina enjoys hiking, biking, and skiing.
