 (306) 522-3030 Michael was born in Kindersley, Saskatchewan, moved with his family to Regina as a child and has resided there since. Michael graduated from the University of Regina with a B. Admin (with distinction) in 1983. He graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with an LL.B. (with distinction) in 1984. He was admitted to the Saskatchewan bar in 1985. Michael articled to Elton R. Gritzfeld, Q.C. (deceased), who was counsel to the firm of Gerrand Rath Johnson. Michael has appeared before all levels of Court in Saskatchewan and before the Supreme Court of Canada. Michael has participated in Continuing Legal Education Seminars as a presenter. He has also assisted with the Saskatchewan Trial Advocacy seminar. Michael is active in the community both with sports and with charitable organizations. He is involved with coaching various sporting activities such as baseball, hockey and soccer. Michael has also served in a volunteer capacity with the Children's Wish Foundation of Canada and a number of other charitable organizations. Michael is married and he and his wife have four children. Michael is qualified to practice as a collaborative lawyer.
