![]() (306) 522-3030 Rod Rath was born and raised near Humboldt, Saskatchewan. He graduated from the College of Law University of Saskatchewan (with distinction) in 1971 and was called to the Bar in 1972. After working in the Saskatchewan Government Insurance Legal Department for a year, Rod entered private law practice where he continues to practice primarily in the area of civil litigation and insurance law. He is a "lawyers' lawyer" having been retained by the Lawyers' Insurance Associations of Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia. He has appeared before Trial and Appeal courts as well as Boards and Tribunals. Rod is a current member of the Canadian Bar Association and Saskatchewan Trial Lawyers Association. He has been the Law Society of Saskatchewan representative on the Court of Queen's Bench Rules Revision Committee, and has participated in Continuing Legal Education seminars as well as lecturing for a number of years at the Bar Admission Course in the area of civil practice and procedure.
